I hate it when people say something is overrated.

That is a fierce and personal opinion, if you don’t like what two people are talking about, instead of insulting them or the subject avoid hurt feelings and go find like minded people to talk to.

If you insist on voicing your opinion, it is your right, but be kind. Simply say it’s not your cup of tea and then move on.
